Chattanooga Mountain Engagement Session - Sarah & Graham

Remember how I was bragging about how Chattanooga is such a great outdoorsy city back when I blogged this engagement session at Signal Point? Well, Chattanooga did win the vote and was named "Best Outdoor City in the U.S." by Outside Magazine! Go Chattanooga!

I got to take engagement pictures at another beautiful, lush mountain spot in Chattanooga, this time on Lookout Mountain, for Sarah and Graham.

My family has known Sarah's family for decades! When we moved to Chattanooga, she was a student at Covenant College and quickly became our favorite babysitter. Sarah and Graham met at Covenant College where they discovered that they shared something pretty unique in common - they both grew up in Africa. They were friends first and slowly become more than friends. Just over a month ago, Graham proposed to Sarah while they were out canoeing around Maclellan Island. (I'm serious folks, outdoorsy things are just what Chattanoogans do!)

Sarah and Graham chose Glen Falls for their engagement session and were willing to meet me super early in the morning to capture the soft, eastern morning light. Glen Falls is a short hike down from a parking pull-off of Ochs Highway just as you start ascending Lookout Mountain. They chose this spot since they have enjoyed hiking together here.

I saw one review online that mentioned Glen Falls as a great engagement spot. If you are looking for one, definitely check it out. It's a beautifully romantic little hideaway on the side of Lookout, especially this little pool and bridge by the waterfall!

Sarah and Graham are both lovely people. They love God and each other and I am sure they have many great adventures ahead of them!
